Pioneer plasma TV "Consumer" Internet dealers...

We've just created a new HDTV Review website. This is not the usual mass market crap! We get straight to the point. We'll focus our unbiased reviews on topline HDTV products. The www.the-hdtv-review.com is a new website and we will be adding to it frequently.

Question: Pioneer "Consumer" Internet dealers...
Does anyone know exactly what an Pioneer Consumer Internet dealer is authorized to sell? Is it only the commercial plasmas, the home plasmas, or both?

Pioneer list two categories: home and consumer internet dealers but refer to their plasmas as home and business/professional.

Answer: I was informed by an authorized Pio Internet Dealer that they are authorized to sell Pio Consumer lines, i.e.; 4350, 5050 et al. but must abide by the MAP pricing policy in quoting models, Monitoroutlet was the dealer and they were very professional and helpful with written quotes significantly below B&M - TVAuthority is also a dealer that could confirm this info with you.

As I was shopping for the 1410HD Elite they informed me that only Retailers can sell the Elite line. Now in some cases a Dealer may be both. However, the Elite can be obtained from unauthorized Dealers but remember Caveat Emptor! Good Luck
